■About steel materials used■
The white steel used is the standard steel used for Japanese knives and is most commonly used by professionals.
This steel is a highly pure steel with impurities removed.
This knife is characterized by its sharp cutting ability compared to blue steel.
This knife is easy to sharpen and has high cost performance.
Since it is made of carbon steel, it has a very sharp blade, so it cuts well.
If moisture or salt remains on it, it will rust.
■Forging method■
In addition to rolling the steel material in layers,
The manufacturing method in which craftsmen use hammers to forge steel is called forging.
Forging, hardening, and blade attachment are done by hand by skilled craftsmen.
The sharpness and blade durability have been significantly improved.
■Magnolia wood handle■
The handle is made of natural magnolia wood, which is highly workable and fits easily in the user's hand.
The muzzle is made from natural water buffalo horn (no slaughter is required to procure the horn).
It is carefully polished by hand until there is no difference between the wood and the muzzle, and as you use the unique wood grain, it will naturally fit in your hand.
Notes
After using it, wash it to remove dirt and wipe it completely with a dry cloth. Cannot be used for frozen foods.
Because it is handmade, each piece is different. Please use the weight and length as a guide. :As water buffalo is a natural material, the color may vary. Not the same as the photo.
